2025创新英语夏令营优秀营员---李佳辰

Last week witnessed an elaborately-designed activity----the National English Innovation Competition, in which I won the prize of Innovative English Star.

The competition, a perfect combination of English and practical language skills, enjoyed tremendous popularity among us. Those various activities, ranging from dubbing to performing, led us to be soaked in the vast world of English. It is such a precious opportunity to be enveloped such a foreign atmosphere and improve myself in the process of preparing them at full stretch. It not only infused English with the warmth of humanity but also broadened our learning horizons in a larger perspective of history. Most importantly, I realized my original aspiration during the competition----English learning is not merely for obtaining an admission in the college entrance examination, but for linking ourselves with others, connect China and the world.

Through the competition, I gained not only English skills. From my perspective, the true core that are moving us lies in the companionship between our group members, the dim light twinkling on the midnight before the performance, and the continuous encouragement and support from my teammates. We learned to do what we are best at, maximizing the power of our team. We shared our lives to the friends from all over the country and received the most beautiful smile in the world. In the face of difficulties, we bounded together and danced in the rain. This is undoubtedly a precious treasure, our friendship blossomed in the summer like a flower that never fades.

This experience was like an everlasting music, lingering in the river of my memories. As a saying goes, ’Hidden in our temperament are the places we have ever been to, books we have ever read and people we have loved.’ Passion, love, as well as responsibility were the most valuable qualities I learned in the competition. They were, they are and they will always be.
