Made in China? Created in China!

Surrounded by a wide variety of products “Made in China”, most western people hold the idea that China is better at producing than creating and some even doubt about our creativity. Ironically, I suppose they’ve forgotten the gunpowder, with which they invaded China centuries ago, was created in China.

 

Actually, when it comes to Chinese creativity now, we will proudly mention the New Four Inventions--payments via QR codes, high-speed railway, online shopping and shared bicycle, which much shorten the time we spend on transportation and shopping, bringing much convenience to our daily life. Moreover, just a couple of decades ago, most Chinese drivers were still appreciating the birth of GPS created in the US, whereas today we are enjoying more benefits than ever with the application of BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS). Take me for example, during this winter vacation, my family drove back to Fujian Province with the instruction of the BDS, whose functions were not only superior to GPS, but also much easier to carry because it was set in the map apps on our phones. With only a few taps on our mobile phone, we could see the display of three dimensional lanes which allowed us to drive precisely on the roads without any mistakes.

 

What I’ve mentioned above are clear proofs that China’s creativity is superb on the modern international stage. As we can see, China’s own brand, is going international step by step in all the fields of the world, including medicine, military, fashion and etc. In the modern age, I’m convinced my homeland will absolutely make more, better and newer creations!
