Give life a sigh of relief
As Shakespeare said, "There are a thousand Hamlets in the eyes of a thousand readers." At present, 996 looks like a thousand faces. The mouguls of Internet enterprises have expressed their opinions about 996 one after another, and the basic point of view is that 996 is a successful man's proper attitude of struggle. But is 996 really the carrier of success? As a work system, 996 has been linked with the concept of struggle and success. 996 can't fully represent success. No matter compulsory or voluntary, 996 is fundamentally illegal. Success in any form should not be achieved at the expense of health. Making money desperately is not the label of a successful person, nor is it the label of an entrepreneur to set up employees under the 996 system.
Why not resist? The company's high profits and employees' legitimate rights and interests should not stand in conflicts. The employment relationship between company and employees is on the basis of equality, and there is no theory of squeezing. Day-to-day overtime work has virtually become a catalyst for the contradiction between the company and employees. Employees' enthusiasm has been hit. It is only a matter of time before the outbreak. Employees should use legal weapons to protect their rights, and basic personal security should not be just a blank sheet of paper.
A person's life is not just about work. In a competitive society, we also need opportunities to take a break. In my opinion, the company is not qualified to force me to obey the 996 system. Serious and responsible attitude is not necessarily reflected in working overtime. It is ridiculous to judge the quality of my work only by working overtime.
